Who we are
Spolek pro hrad Přimda, z.s.
The association was founded to build an internal viewing platform at Přimda, the oldest castle in the Czech lands. It is a citizens’ initiative of people passionate about history, Přimda, the Plzeň Region and the Český les hills.
We are neither an institution nor a company. We are people who grew up beneath that tower, who go there for walks, or who came to see it once and could not forget it. We share the conviction that a nine-hundred-year-old building deserves more than a sign by the path.
Anyone can take part – with a donation or with their own hands.

Our goal
A viewing platform inside the tower
Inside the castle tower we want to build a viewing platform with a walkway. Today visitors stand beneath bare walls; once it is finished they will be able to climb up and look out over the treetops – to the Český les hills, the town below the rock and the ridges across the border. The walkway will also let people see the masonry of the tower up close, including the surviving garderobe.
